Batemans Bay is located approximately 4 hours drive south of Sydney and 2 hours from Canberra. Batemans Bay itself is one of the most beautiful picturesque coastal towns, with fabulous beaches and great fishing spots. Unspoiled beaches dotting the coastline provide great enjoyment for all, with long, sandy stretches of surf beaches to quiet rock pools and coves. The broad sweep of the Clyde River estuary is set against a mountainous backdrop and the area is well known for its variety and quality of its seafood. During the summer holidays a fun park / amusement park is held beachside at Batehaven.
